How do you turn off autoplay when docking ???

Hi i am new to this forum so go easy

i recently bought a logitech ipad stand with inbuilt speakers and its a really good piece of kit for the price i recently upgraded to ios 5 and everytime i put my ipad on my dock the music starts up.

Is there anyway to stop it from doing that ???

All I can suggest is to have a look through the manual for the dock. I, too, have a Logitech device to hook up my iPhone. There is a setting on mine to prevent it from automatically starting the music.

I say that because it's not on the iPad side, it's the Logitech driving the start-up. There's gotta be an off switch on it somewhere...
