What's new

how much money have you spent on the Ipad so far

Think I spent about $180 for cases(2) and Apps from itune store to date, starting to slow down from the frenzy of the first few days of ownership. Will be very select on what I buy from here on .

good idea to have 2 cases

Good idea to have 2 cases, we can have a change anytime.:)

Good post, not as insane as I expected for most people.

And totalling it up for myself, not too bad either.

So let's see. Apple case, $45. Non-branded "It's going to be at least a month until I get my iPad" silicon sleeve, $12. Apps, $35. Man-purse, $30. Stylus and extra charging cables, $10. Extra microfibre cloths, $5. Apple Wireless keyboard, $70. Plate stand from Garage Sale, $0 ;)

So $210 it is.

Yikes.

Ah well, I'm mostly done. But I've been looking at some of the fanicer frame/docks. I won't get the Griffin, that thing is just too damn heavy, but some of the other ones are appealing...

Let's see....

Incase neoprene sleeve - $40
Apple official case - $40
ZooGue case - $50 (haven't ordered it yet but definitely am going to next week)
Bluetooth keyboard - $80
Portable speaker - $25
Airport Express - $80 (used)
Man purse - $60
Stylus - $15
Desktop stand - $15
Camera connection kit - $70 (inflated ebay price)

Apps - $298 and some change not including some apps I bought from Cydia like SNES4iPhone and Iconoclasm
eBooks - $45 or so

Apps - close to $130
Cases - about $140 (I've been through 3)
Screen protectors - $60 (been through 3 as well)

Looking to get the keyboard dock...

Oh my, I really got to stop.......

Zagg InvisibleShield front - $25
Hard Candy Sleek Skin - $40
BuiltNY sleeve - $20
Microsoft 6000 Bluetooth keyboard - $50
Supplies from Joann to make my own design of a fully adjustable fold flat stand - $6

iPad specific apps - $9

Others:
LEGO Technic kit to duplicate the Isogawa Studio iPad stand - $25 (but this can be used as normal LEGO, so I don't really count this purchase)
I'm trying to snag a camera connection kit in person before my vacation in two weeks.

I only spent less than 20$ on apps, about 50$ on my case, silicone case, and screen protector. I ruined my first one!

44$ on 2 cases. but one is a 4$ temp case before I spend real money on a case the wife might actually like.

Of course I won't see iPad's until the end of the month.......

I've got $225 so far, splurged on the case, holder and anti-glare screen. Possibly another $70 for a bluetooth keyboard. Nothing on apps, only because I don't get it til Wednesday. Son just got accepted to his college of choice (transferred) so this will be my last luxury for awhile.:D
