how to delete email account from old ipad

I have both an old ipad and an ipad 2. I want to delete the email account from the old ipad and set it up as it was when I bought it. I plan to give the old ipad as a gift. Does anyone know how to do this?

The best thing you can do for the person to whom you are giving the iPad is to do a complete restore of the iPad.

This will put a fresh iOS version on it, remove all your data (cause you'll restore from new) and get it ready for the new person to treat it as if it is fresh from the box.

You do this via iTunes and when you are done, it's as if it's brand new AND all your data, to include email, will be wiped clean.
