how to delete photos from ipad if i dont have ther original sync computer

Hi there,
I have an issue I dont know how to sort. Hoping someone there know a soluiton.
I syncronised all my pictures from my sony vaio to my ipad. Then one day my sony vaio died.
I would like to delete or retransfer those pictures to another computer but they cannot be recognized when I connect the ipad to the new computer.
Does anybody know a way of transfering and deleting those pictures from ipad (they are taking lots of memory)
