How to follow blogs

I am still a newbie even after a year but I am hoping someone can help me. There are various blogs that I like follow and I was wondering if there was an app or special program I can download that will notifiy me when there are updates posted. I have learned how to use Flipboard with anyone that uses rss feeds but what I am looking for is those blogs that are marked with the Large Orange "B".
