I am going to a wedding and will brimg my netbook and my iPad.

Usually my iPad is sync to my main PC.

Is there anyway I can import photos from my netbook to my iPad.

I do not have a camera connextion kit but my netbook has a SD card reader.

Salut!

You can sync your iPad to any of the computers with iTunes that are registered to your iTunes account. The problem is maintaining all of those devices with identical libraries. So some things that you had on your main computer will be erased when you sync with the netbook.

Oh, and there are other photography apps than Photos. Some might even allow you a drag and drop from the netbook without using iTunes...

Transfer the photos on to an SD card or USB stick then import to original compute then sync This avoids problems and accidental erasure of important photos

If you can connect both the netbook and the iPad to the same wireless network you can use either GoodReader or PhotoSync to wirelessly transfer photos between them.

GoodReader may be best, since you can put them in folders that way. PhotoSync will only let you add them to the Saved Pictures album.

GoodReader also has a USB transfer option, though I've never used it. You would not need a network for that.

Can you add Dropbox with same user name/password to Ipad and all the computers and just transfer that way? i find it one of the easiest ways to move photos.

Diane

GoodReader usb prog is small and fast. A drag and drop explorer window.
I found photosync a bit slower. ymmv

Both will work well.
