How to Project off Ipad with HBO Go to TV

Downloaded the HBO GO App . Runs well on IPad, but when I try to play it though my Flat Screen TV System nothing comes out. However, when I run any video's the movies play fine on the TV thru the IPad.

As I understand it, not all apps will display. I believe you have to jailbreak to do so.
