How to stream from Ipad to tv

Hi everyone! I want to stream from my Ipad to my television to watch Netflix.What do I need to do? It is possible right?

The easiest way is to purchase Apple's AV adaptor and a regular HDMI cable. Works a treat

My DH surprised me with Apple TV for Christmas, and I really would never have thought I'd need it or use it, but I love it! I stream catch-up TV with it all the time and my son loves watching Youtube music videos on the big screen. It is so simple to set up and use and doesn't cost a fortune.
