How Vulnerable the ipad is to hit?

Besides that climsy me took it with no casing and got hit by the bus door, and it sliped from my hands and nearly fell more then few times, was neer a hot radeator, liquids,forgot few,
I wont take it traveling in my case,
Any tips?
While open
And protective cases are heavy anyhow ?
Should i pay for anual insurence or on fixing
O wonder if it will last in ok condition until next model

Geez, and I thought I was rough on my iPads. Your description of your iPad's adventures made me imagine a commercial selling iPad insurance, lol.

I don't buy insurance for devices, but I might if I knew I couldn't afford to replace my iPad out of pocket if I broke it.

iPads generally don't fare well in drops, and they don't like heat or water.
