Hello everyone, I bought my iPad 2 yesterday and by early afternoon was locked out from registration. Is there any way of starting completely over? The email verification process seems to reject any password and doesn't even agree that my birth date is correct. Only half of the emails the verification process sends out seem to arrive, this proves the address is correct at least.Help I'm going mad already!

HI Dingle--

Are you trying to set up your new ipad--sorry, trying to gather info.

I just bought a new ipad for my mom on Friday, and had to do Reset under ipad settings to "ERASE All Content Settings."

Fortunately, it was the very start getting the ipad to go. I included the wrong password to my mom's email address and so when I thought everything was set to buy an app-it would not let me, until I verified my account through a message they sent to the email I gave them. I checked to see if that message was there in my email and it was not. That is when I did the RESET to erase all settings.

I re-did the the settings--and all was fine.
