The apple crops here were mostly frozen out, but pumpkins have come to the rescue. The local pick your own apples place has been featuring pumpkins instead.
I have been buying the low priced candy for trick-or-treating. I hope I have some left by Halloween.

We bought our pumpkins (big ones) for $2.99! I don't recall that it being so cheap, but maybe they had a great crop this year?

The candy...one bag has mysteriously disappeared in our household! Don't know how that happened!

You know what happens when you open the candy bag, don't you? It evaporates on contact with the air. I expect that's what happened to your candy.
