I may need advice

Good afternoon everyone.
I would like to just introduce myself as a new member to you forum.
I am an older user who has just purchased an ipad mini.
I am quite ok with my lap top and used a PC while at work but may need some advice from time to time with the ipad.

I am sure I shall be glad to ask some of you experienced users some questions.

My first question is:

Do I need to purchase any Internet/anti virus security?
I currently use Mcafee on my home PC and lap top.
I am just about to update my Mcafee here at home and see they do something called All Acess

No, you don't need to worry about antivirus on the iPad. That is mainly for desktop/laptops which have millions upon millions of business users.
