i pad to mac book wireless problems

i,m having trouble getting my i pad to talk to my mac book wireless.

How are you trying to connect them? What app are you using? Splashtop is one of Members' favourites.

I've switched to Screens in preference to Slashtop Tim.
Works like a dream with Lion and win7. The additional keyboard option and the ability to pinch/zoom makes control of the target machine very easy.
