Was streaming from BBC iPlayer last night only to find my daughters were doing the same from their iPads. So glad I upgraded my internet connection!

The trouble is if I buy one they will want their own......
Why couldn't they be fish lovers instead?

You'll need a Netflix subscription and it basically acts as a router to your TV.

For the benefit of non-US forum users, and those that just want to stream their iTunes store/library media - you do not need a Netflix subscription.

I got my HDMI cable at the Apple Store for around 30$ CAD when i got my Apple TV 2. This way, if something goes wrong, you'll be safe for compatibility...

Love the Netflix app on it and accessing the podcasts is simply great.
