Icab is frozen and not working at all

Hi guys,

I have the first ipad and Safari was a pain for me when it comes to uploading files online as it doesnt support it, I have heard about icab so i decided to buy it on the app store yesterday, it was working fine ubtil it started to keep crashing and then today i opened the app to use it, it doesnt to seem to work at all when i touch on the browser to type a website to go to, or if i touch any of its features, it does nothing, please help me or if you have any suggestions.

If you have not already done so, try these fixes:

When you have problems with an app it's a good idea to clear it from RAM.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.

If that does not work try a restart,

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart. takes a bit longer than a restart.

I rried them all and it doesnt work. I always turnon wifi and the apps i use after using the ipad and i also shut the ipad. Icab seemed to play up when i bought it on the day as the battery started to die out, the app started to crash a lot, then at one point i relaunched the app and it just sows a blank page and when i touch on the broswer or anything there is no response.

I was thinking of deleting the app and then re installing it but i dont know if i have to pay for it again, i do have everything backed up on icloud.

Deleting and reinstalling is the next logical step, as you said. You do not have to pay again. Instead of showing a price in the App Store it will say Install (or something like).

My ipad is frozen When i tried to press the home button and power button at the same time, the apple logo appeared. then a usb with itunes logo appeared. and it stuck there. there is nothing i can do for it to work. please help.

Sounds like you're iPad is still on iOS 4.x or earlier and has somehow been returned to factory settings.

You will need to connect your iPad to a computer running the latest version of iTunes. This will initialize the iPad. It will probably also recommend updating the software. Since you've already lost all your content and will have to add it again, you might as well do this.
