Icloud downloading to Ipad

Hello,
Every time I play a song from my ICloud on my iPad, the song downloads onto my iPad. How do I stop that from happening? I want to be able to play music from my iCloud but not have it download.
Is that possible?

You cannot. Apples deal with the record publishers is not for streaming, it's for storage of music.
