Downloaded audiobooks & music

Downloaded music on my new iPad before downloading the new operating system. Now I see my list of purchased songs, but when I tap them, they do not play. Nothing happened. I just downloaded my first audiobook & now I have no idea where it is to listen to them. Help???

Had problem too with 1st audiobook. Had to contact Apple support. We had to connect ipad to our computer, then on devices went to iBooks and audiobooks. Deleted the downloaded audiobook by removing check mark in sync audiobooks. Audiobook was deleted. Went to iTunes and downloaded audiobook again and it worked!
