iCloud Icon?

I had an icon for Mobile Me on both my iMac and my iPad. When I upgraded to ios 5 the Mobile Me icon disappeared but it was not replaced by the iCloud icon. Was it supposed to be? Or is there no desktop icon for the iCloud? If there should be one how do I retrieve it now?
