There is a thread already specifically for that and now it should be at the too because I put a reply to the thread to bump it up.

This poll should have been if you have and iPad and it DID have yellow tint.

the tally will be squewed by people buying different models. Its not like we are polling 1000 users for each device. the results are pretty useless.

your pretty much just asking what ipad model everyone has, and the people with problems are told not to vote what model they had.

There is a thread for those with the yellow tint issue as well. The problem is a poll is limited to 10 choices and there are 6 models and those with and without the yellow screen which makes 12 possible responses hence the need for two threads.

Wouldn't it make sense to have the same poll but for people who do have defective screens?

and I thought it was down to the batch which was produced rather than a specific model?

Yes which is why there is another thread for that. Please see the post before this. Trying to figure out if it is by batch or model or neither.

"Apple is using a bonding agent called Organofunctional Silane Z-6011 to bond the layers of glass. Apparently, Apple (or more likely Foxconn) is shipping these products so quickly that the evaporation process is not complete. However, after one or two days of use, especially with the screen on, will complete the evaporation process and the yellow "blotches" will disappear."

So says MacRumors.com.

I have no issues whatsoever.

This is exactly what took place on my 64 wi-fi white unit. The first day I didn't even pay attention. Then as I noticed several threads on the subject, I decided to check. Yes a small flare of yellow around the home key and a couple of other spots on the opposite side, about the size of a pea. Now after two weeks, they are all gone. When actually on the main screen I couldn't see the yellow tint, one way or another. I realize there are manufacturing variations. Hope it works out for everyone.

The issue I and many others are seeing is the entire screen displayed a yellow hue, predominately in whites and greys. This is most likely due to the colour temp of the LEDs used in the screen backlighting.
