Not pretty, but an unusual sight, at least for me.

I didn't know that Segways came with training wheels. :)

Wow.....I've never seen one of those before. I'm wondering how fast they go and if you could run faster. ;)

It was whizzing by at a fast jogging pace, maybe about 6 to 8 miles an hour. No idea if it can go faster.

It certainly looks like fun. I guess if the police have to cover a large area, it would be useful. But in the long run, I can't see it being very good for their general fitness.

The person is some kind of mall/area security. I kind of doubt the police are using them. And yes, he looks a bit out of shape, but I'm not any trimmer.

On the other hand, you'd have to be in more than just good shape to cover the ground he was. I saw in zip by on his rounds at least 6 times in the half-hour I was there, and I'd guess it was at least a half-mile route; judging by the block of buildings being patrolled.

Thank you Johanna. I'm so glad you like that picture.

Here is a sunset picture I took in Finland. It was the most vividly colored sunset I've ever seen. Rendered one breathless. This is the way it was, so it's not edited.

I took a series of four pictures there.

This lake is called "Pyhäjärvi", which means "Holy lake"

Breathless is the right expression. :-)

Oh....I thought it was a policeman! duh!

I can see why he'd need one then......

I'd sure love a go. ;)

Wonderful image. So subtle and hidden. Blends in so well. I love it.

What a great walk you must have had. :)

Just luck of the moment. The deer hesitated long enough for me to get my phone out and snap a couple shots.

It was the place I usually walk, a dike along the river. It's right up against residential blocks most of the way. I see deer almost every walk. Seeing one that is both close enough and stays still long enough to show in a phone camera photo, even with cropping like this one, is rarer.

I got some video last week, but if it weren't for their white tails you might not even notice them.

Sounds like a nice place.

You're so lucky to see so many deer. They give you a nice photo-op.

I'd love to see you post more of these pixs as you take them. This one was a treat. :)
