New member from the Canary Islands just joined the forum - posted a welcome, but reminded me of a trip that my wife and I made to Portugal back in the early 1970s - from Lisbon we flew to the island of Madeira for 3 nights (just north of the Canary Islands - see map) - scanned in some slides (about 6 years ago) of our island visit w/ a couple shown below - our introduction to Madeira wine and also casino gambling - won a BIG chip at the roulette table which she took and put in her purse, so we left w/ some additional money. :) Dave
