LOL! I went to a Catholic grade school in Toledo until we moved to southern Michigan - but that pic about the 'Father' gave me a chuckle - a few weeks ago I replaced my DVD of the ole film 'Going My Way' (1944) w/ Bing Crosby & Barry Fitzgerald, so reminded me of the latter as one of a number of priests in the film - both Bing and Barry won Oscars - BTW, the BD of this movie is well restored and the sound is great (also Oscar for 'Best Song' - 'Swinging on a Star'). Dave

All of the priests I know, younger and older ones, are not bald and don’t wear rim glasses.
I think it’s more a movie thing.

Well, probably. More than probably.

But the two I remember best from my childhood were both older and bald. To be fair, I don’t remember either of them wearing glasses.

Looking back, Father O’Brian was only middle aged, but he seemed old to the then me.

Lazy today. When I went to visit Mom, she had some crayons and a couple sheets of designes in front of her. With her permission, I colored one in. Here, somewhat modified, is the result as DoodleFace #5

Most of these look better on the watch than they do on the site. Nothing like making things smaller to cover up mistakes.

Recently met our new grand dog Brody (Maltese 'toy' breed) on a trip to Indianapolis to visit our son & DIL - before our departure this morning, our son took a few pics and I cropped and resized several - one below - we can't wait to see the little guy again! Dave

P.S. I've posted several images of Brody before in this thread (probably pages ago now) - he's about 5+ months of age.
