23.5 inches of consolidated snow, about 35” before it settled.

Boy, I haven't seen a snow like that since growing up in Michigan in the 1960s - we've been in North Carolina since 1971 - record snow here in the Piedmont for us is about 12 inches although many winters we'll not see any snow which is true this winter (at least until now, so we have another month or so to go!). Taken with my wife's iPad Mini 4 near the bottom of the Wall Street slot canyon trail, shooting straight upward through some tall Ponderosa Pines. The spectacular color is quite accurate.

First 'Light Snow' - Image from DoorCam!

Last year we added a 'door cam' to our home security system - pic from app on my iPad - kind of snow I like, i.e. pretty but just wet roads! BTW - I have two new door mats coming from Amazon in a day or two, so the view should even look nicer. Dave
