Years ago I was invited to speak at the U of NM medical school in Albuquerque and the Balloon Festival was in progress - beautiful site (sorry, no pics) - Susan was w/ me and we took an extra week after my engagement - drove up and stayed in Santa Fe and visited many of the Pueblos (Taos, Acoma, Laguna, Jemez and a few others) - bought a lot of Southwestern Art including some of our early kachinas; pics below of our den fireplace mantel - the large pieces, including the Taos Pueblo wall hanging were all from that trip, plus several of the kachinas; the rest collected over a number of decades.
