Yesterday started out at 50°F and ended up in the teens by the end of the day. We had wind gusts up to 45mph with trees and limbs down all over the place. It is 10°F here with wind chills at 1°F this morning and over 25,000 homes without power. Temps aren't getting above freezing today, and it's going down to 11°F tonight. Front page Google news says there are over a million homes without power here in the US and at least 9 dead. By the end of this coming week into the beginning of the following week, we are going to have temperatures up in the mid to upper 60's F. Our lows by Friday and Saturday are going to be 20°F to 30°F higher than our high today. WTH? Crazy weather!
After the recent blizzard in north USA (Source) - amazing! I was born in Toledo, Ohio on the western end of Lake Erie - use to visit often (fishing, seafood restaurants, ice skating in the winter) but don't remember such a scene - Dave
