The portrait on Canadian stamps doesnā€™t always face left.

Thatā€™s interesting, I stand corrected, I didnā€™t realise the stamps in other parts of the Commonwealth didnā€™t adhere to the ā€˜left lookā€˜ rule. Apparently itā€™s only the British *definitive stamps that always look left.

*A definitive stamp is a stamp that consists solely of the monarchsā€™ head. These are the standard red and blue first and second class stamps we use today in the UK.

Apparently the Canadian Government and Mint have yet to decide whether a change to the obverse side of coins will feature King Charles or stay with the face of Queen Elizabeth, and as of yet thereā€™s no decision whether there will be a change to the image on Canadian stamps.
