Mostly…but not about the US/UK difference in the usage of the word “mad.” You folks mean “insane” while we Yanks (usually) mean angry. I always assumed mad hares, hatters, and cows were British.

That is beautiful! Starlings are amazing.

A couple of years ago I was rolling up to an intersection on my way home, and saw this. These are screen grabs from a video I took. These birds are just amazing to watch do their thing.

A large flock of starlings is called a murmuration.

For a different bird spectacle, watch thousands of migrating Sandhill Cranes land for the night on the Platte River. It’s a live cam, so check it around sunset Nebraska time (or scroll backward).

If you manage to catch their morning lift off, it’s truly spectacular. Essentially all of them leave at once.
