I have never seen one of those in person. Must’ve been awesome to witness that.

It certainly was. It’s the first and, so far, the only roll cloud I’ve seen.
They slowly rotate as they advance and can be up to several hundred miles long. I only saw this one because I was outside during coffee break at work.

Saw this little guy looking at me while I was mowing the lawn this morning. We have a lot of these around here during the warm season. They are easy to catch and tame, and make neat aquarium pets.
