Images wont load in safari

I have an ipad 2 with ios 6 and just a few days ago some images on certain websites wont load but instead give me a blue question mark. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix the problem. I have already tried a few trouble shooting steps, tried different browsers other than safari, restarted my ipad etc etc, nothing seems to work. Help please
