In app texting tweak?

Nothing out there like quickreply, but for the iPad?

Ok think I answered my own question again, looks like messages+ is what I want , although its a bit expensive at 7.99

Not sure Messages+ works on iPad though? I could be wrong, but it is included with IntelliscreenX, and whilst it provides those features on the iPhone it does NOT provide the same features on the iPad as far as I can see...
Maybe another member who has it can confirm? (but of course there is a free trial, so you can always give it a go)

thank you I'll look into it more thoroughly.

searched google, YouTube cannot figure out if messages+ works for iPad? Does anyone have this tweak?

if anyone is Interested, I heard back from the makers of messages+ and the tweak is NOT for the iPad. Bummer.

Have you tried making your iPad 'think' it's not an iPad?

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

Edit K48AP.plist

Locate and change to false. Reboot. Now it doesn't think it's an iPad

<key>ipad</key>
<true/>

haven't done that, don't want to mess around with that, but I appreciate the idea, thanks!

I need to add: changing the iPad's Springboard plist like that is probably not a good idea. That plist is what makes the iPad behave like an iPad at the core/system level. It's the set of directions Apple uses to set the iPad up to operate.

Messing about with it is probably a good way to learn how to restore an iPad ... :)

And for sure, making that adjustment will NOT magically enable SMS messaging.

iPad=False does not make the equation device=iPhone !!!

Obviously not. It is only to fool it into not knowing its an iPad. It was a suggestion to see if it helped. That is all
