Can anyone tell me when they're going to come out with an iPad version of this app? And if they're not going to do that anytime soon, what do you think about getting the iPhone version for use on the iPad? I don't have an iPhone.

Don't think so. Already a long time the iPhone App is available. Further if Facebook buys IG it might take more than just more time....
Possible to use with my iPad 2 WIFI but as all iPhone apps not very comfortable IMHO. But it works.

I use the iPhone app on my iPad 2 all the time. No complaints!

I use the iPhone app on my iPad 3 with no issues. Also, if your JB, you can use the retina tweak in Cydia to sharpen the app!
