Intro & Quick Question!

Hey y'all! Glad to be here! I got my iPad back in September for FREE! Like, seriously, free. I won it it a drawing on my college campus. Go figure! Anyway, on to my question! Does anyone know why the iPad says it's "Not Charging" when it is plugged up to my computer? Also, it says the same thing when I plug it up to my iPhone charger. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The iPad requires a 2.1 amp 10 watt charger, your computers USB does not provide this although it IS still charging, only at half the speed.

Will still charge ok, only it takes twice as long.
