Introduction

My name is Jim. I'm 74 years old and live in Ohio. I have had my iPad 2 for about a month. I'm interested in learning how do things that aren't in the manual. I was trying to find answers using google and this website kept coming up so I decided this would be the place to find answers to my questions.
I am retired and was in data processing from 1957 until 1999. I started as a machine operator and when I retired I was a programmer analyst. The first computer I operated and later programmed had 20K. To think of the computing power available to me with my iMac and ipad 2 is mind boggling.

Hi, Good to hear there are others in the forum of a similar vintage to myself.........20K WOW what luxury we used to control and monitor chemical plant in 4K! so I know exactly where you are coming from.
