iOS 16.2

A few months ago I bought a 10.2 inch 2021 iPad. I've been holding off updating to iOS 16, but today I decided to pull the trigger and update to iOS 16.2. Except that when I tried, it only offered me 15.7.2. I installed that, hoping that once it was installed, I would be offered 16.2, but no such luck. Any ideas what is going on? I have another iPad that's a few years old, and that one updated to 16.2 with no problems.

When Apple offered iPadOS 16 they did something they have never done before. They made it possible to ignore an upgrade and just continue getting updates for your current version. That means the update page is a little different.

The top part now just shows you updates. At the bottom you should find an upgrade opption.
