iPad 2 and Netflix ??

Have an iPad 2 (9.3.5 Version), was given a Gift Card for Netflix.. Thru the App Store when attempting to Download the Netflix App a pop up says Not Compatible.. Told I need iOS 11 or better, Question Can I or Should I Download the latest iOS Version or is my iPad just plain Out Dated ?? Cheers Thanks

The iPad 2 doesn’t get a software version past 9.3.5, so your device is up to date. You can’t download a iOS version later than the one installed on your device.

Only iTunes and App Store gift cards will work with the App Store (or iTunes). Netflix gift cards would be for Netflix services. You should be able to redeem them on the NetFlix website.
