As far as I know you use face time to face time and skype to skype and not intermixing

Correct 2 different apps. I use Skaype all the ime, since Facetime is not wide spread and limited to Mac.

Yup, I been video skyping on my ipad2 since the day it arrived

I used Skype on Easter Sunday to talk from the USA to Poland.

The iPhone app works, it will be a lot better when a real ipad2 app comes out.

Sunday, the picture was lousy and the sound was out of sync but it did work for 45 minutes.
