Ipad 2 displays NOT CHARGING

Hey,
My name is Daniel,i,ve purchased my ipod2 about one month ago,and i just love it!
The problem is with my charger i think....the one that came with the ipod,just stopped working,and i,ve purchased another who show,s the mesagge Not Charging when is plugged into wall.
I,ve tried another outlets in the house but keeps showing the same thing.
I,ve used my friend,s chargers(ipad and iphone),and they both work without problem.The funny thing is that my charger,work,s just fine with my friend,s ipad and iphone...
Can someone help me and tell me what to do?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Well that is strange....Is the new charger you bought specifically for an iPad as these charge at a higher rate than that of an iPhone charger. An iphone charger will charge but will take a much longer time. Unusual that it works with your friends iPad though.
I would be taking your original charger back to apple and requesting a replacement and trying it out instore. Might be an idea to have the connection point on your iPad checked also.

No not at all, probably just the charger and no harm in checking your connection point while you're there. Do you think it could be the iPad? Do a full backup before you go if you do.

Well you've got nothing to worry about then....just get that charger replaced.....was your new one an Apple iPad charger?

It's much better to stick with an Apple charger rather than a knock off and seeing as how they will replace it free of charge, thats the one I would stick with.

uuuhh no worry iPad is charging...check the % is up ive also had such an issue
