jailbroken ipad on 7.0.4 was constantly dropping both of our home wifi networks and changing between them randomly. I tried various 'fixes' but the one which seems to have worked is changing the wireless settings in the routers from 11bgn to 11bg.
I have no idea why this apparently works but it does - so far! Hope it might help someone else.
