Ipad 2 help

Do you mean you've recorded video and there is no sound on playback? If so, then it's likely your mic was blocked when recording. It's the hole above the forward facing camera. You have to figure out if you have covered it with your finger whilst recording, have a case that blocks it, or have gotten some debris in there at some point. Obviously all these are fixable for future recordings.

Thanks. Buts that's not it either. I just don't know.

Hi Seniorgirl - welcome to the forum! :) When an app or a feature of the iPad seems to be misbehaving, I will start w/ the steps below (if not already done) - First, 'Force Close' the Camera app (make sure the app is not open); if not successful, then proceed to the next two steps sequentially and test after each maneuver - if still a problem, then I would agree w/ the previous poster about visiting an Apple store - good luck & let us know your results - Dave

When an app (or several) are misbehaving, I usually go through the following steps:

1. Force Close - open the multi-tasking bar (double tap the 'home buttom' or use multi-gesturing and swipe up); press & hold an app until all begin to 'jiggle'; find the offending app(s) and press the 'red circle w/ minus sign' - return to the home screen & try again.

2. Restart - press & hold the 'Sleep/Awake' (a.k.a. power) button until a red slider appears (may take a few seconds) - move the slider to turn off the iPad; then press & hold the same button until the Apple logo appears - wait for a restart.

3. Reset - press & hold the 'Power' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears - this may take a longer time, so have patience; the iPad will 're-boot' - NOTE that none of these maneuvers will alter your apps, files, or settings.
