I'm curious as to why you need two separate laptops. Besides leaving it in two separate places, what do you do that you need two full-fledged laptops? If I was programming windows code, one would be enough for me.

the reason for needing two laptops... is my wife and daughter usually have our laptop utilized day and night for school work and projects, my wife's work and her on-line shopping fetish, while the desktop is rather out-dated and primarily holds photos, song and other media BS. So, to have a laptop all to myself is quit appealing!
