ipad 2 question

I was wondering if the ipad 2 camera has an auto focus? I want to use it to can bar codes and qr. Doing plan on using for pictures just to scan codes

The iPad 2 is auto focus, but it ain't wonderful. The camera quality is so low you wouldn't be able to determine whether it's a focus issue or general poor sensor quality.

That said, it does a reasonable job of scanning bar and qr codes, as long as the light is good.

Absolutely. The key to good phots on ipad2 is good lighting. Check out our ipad2 photo thread - there really is some awesome phots in there
