Another factor which I should point out is that I'm not American (and so are a significant number of members here), so we don't enjoy any of the free domestic shippng offers when buying online, of which a good majority are American-based sites. International shipping can add 20-30% on top of the product's cost, not to mention local customs taxes, so anything which can bring costs down is a good thing as long as they don't compromise on the quality and workmanship.
