Hello everyone,

I am so glad I found this site. Our ipad 2 was acting freakishly and I found the solution on this forum! Suddenly there were boxes that would frame around an app if you touched it.Boxes would appear on anything you touched and then to make matters worse ..nothing would happen.I would have to keep tapping and holding my finger down and finally something would open.I could not open safari.I could not scroll up or down or side to side. This rendered the ipad useless. Finally I saw a post on here about the voiceassist setting.I turned the volume up on ipad and sure enough this voice setting meant for people who can not see was on!I triple clicked the home button and heard the voice say that it was now off.Viola! My ipad 2 works like normal again!! I seriously thought the recent updates with the icloud stuff was the problem but it is not. Thanks for the great input on here. You saved us from a lot of drama! love goobergirl in FL
