This window of opportunity has been extended with Christmas approaching and iPads bought now can be exchanged up until 7th January. You must have all the boxing to do this though. These are good portable options, and you can usually share the wifi with a number of devices, if needed.
If your just using it around the home, then hopefully you have a wifi modem with your home Internet you can connect to.
