Ipad 2 won't accept my gmail un and pw

I can't believe it, it's finally WORKING!!!

Apparently it was the two step verification process gmail uses that mucked up the Ipad's configuration. Gmail has a mobile device page instructing how to use a specific device pw that only works once and that's all it takes.

I VERY MUCH appreciate all the help!!
