Ipad 2 won't charge

I got the iPad 2 for Christmas it was working fine and now when I plug the charger in it is like it has a bad connection and some times it charges and sometimes it won't. Any ideas?

It sounds like a loose connection/wire. If you are near an Apple Store I'd be inclined to take it in and let them check it out.
