Ipad 3 Battery iOS 6 problem?

I upgraded yesterday and fully charged the battery.

Now I find it draining fast while doing exactly what i do with it everyday.

I haven't done anything . I even turned down the brightness from 70% to 50% and the battery is dying at a faster rate.

Did i not install it correctly? I dont want to reset the whole thing and lose all my data . Any suggesstions?

Just look at the settings. By default Bluetooth, Location services etc. are on and consume a lot of battery. Try switching those off and see if there is a difference!

I too see a faster drop in battery life with ios 6 installed.

Haven't noticed it myself, but there are 30-odd pages of complaints about the iPhone 4s battery drain after installing iOS6 here so it's clearly an issue for some folks...
