will the cam. conn. allow an ipad to accept thumb drives, ext. HD's, to DL music into iTunes?

Short answer would be no.

Longer answer would be that it does work with thump drives (usb keys) and the iPhone, but only with pictures.

Thanks, Alex. I watched all that guys episodes on you tube. I guess down the road with software updates the ipad will do more. I have a case but no ipad..funny.
