Ipad App that allows text messaging using smartphone number?

There is an add-on for Chrome (mightytext) that allows you to send/receive/reply to text messages from your PC that are sent to your smartphone number.

Is anyone aware of this type of app being available for the Ipad that would allow the same text messaging functions using your smartphone number - not a google voice number or other number assigned through some of the other texting apps?
