iPad changes file names

iPad changes file names to "Photo" when you share a photo from the Photo Library via email. Is it possible to avoid this and keep the original file name? Thanks.

Not using the Photos app.

If you have GoodReader you can use it to copy, rename, and email a photo or photos. It's a handy app to have anyway; does lots of useful file management things as well as read pdf and other common formats.

There are other third party photo apps that may do the job as well. Search around the forum and you will find lots of suggestions for photo organizing and syncing.
